Bet365 got a license for Bulgaria but deleted all the accounts

From 06 June 2016 one of the most famous bookmakers in the online gambling industry - Bet365 got a license to operate in Bulgaria. The fight was tough and they judged the government for monopoly and discrimination successfully. This is great and the good news is that they have opened the doors for new arbitrage bettors, but the bad news is that they have deleted all the previous accounts of the Bulgarian citizens. But why did they do that?

Well… there are few possible reasons that could explain their behavior. The first reason is because now you have to open new account and if you do it with the same ID from the same computer and IP you won’t be able to take advantage of one-time promotions available for new users, because you might have already used your promotion in your previous profile, no matter it was deleted by Bet365 team. The second reason which is considered as the main one is associated with the affiliates. If you are an affiliate of Bet365 and you have referrals from Bulgaria, well… you don’t have them anymore! All their accounts are deleted and you have lost all of your referrals that brings you money from commissions. The bad thing is that they won’t restore your affiliates and even if they do, these accounts won’t be active and won’t bring you any benefit.
